On October 22, 2017, an Uber driver was traveling west on Chicago Avenue. He had a solid green light while entering the Chicago Avenue and Wabash Avenue intersection.

At that time and without warning, another driver attempted a left turn from eastbound Chicago Avenue onto northbound Wabash Avenue. The vehicle turned directly in front of the Uber car. The vehicles collided and sustained severe property damage. As a result of the impact, the Uber driver was thrown wildly inside his car.

Chicago Police Department officers arrived at the scene. CPD found the turning driver to be at fault. The officers stated there was nothing the Uber driver could have done to avoid the crash.

The Uber driver has incurred thousands of dollars in medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering and loss of normal life. He has retained LegalRideshare to fight for full compensation. As Chicago’s rideshare accident/injury lawyers, LegalRideshare is demanding the at-fault driver pay all damages available under Illinois law.
